Specialty Weave Technologies

From precision micron Dutch weaves to diffusion-bonded sintered laminates and V-wire configurations, explore our engineered wire mesh geometries tailored for demanding industrial separation.

High-Pressure FiltrationRating: 10 – 300 µm

Reverse Dutch Weave

Constructed with heavier, tightly packed warp wires and thinner weft wires driven closely together. This inverted geometric configuration yields high tensile resistance along the length of the roll, ideal for continuous pressure belt filters and horizontal screening.

Key Performance Characteristics

  • High mechanical strength prevents roll elongation under continuous belt tension
  • Rigid wire structure resists blinding and localized deformation
  • Precise aperture consistency even under high differential pressures (ΔP)
Primary Applications
  • Polymer melt continuous filtration ribbon belts
  • Extruder screen changers in plastic recycling
  • High-pressure liquid clarification filters

Reverse Dutch Weave
High-Pressure Filtration

Constructed with heavier, tightly packed warp wires and thinner weft wires driven closely together. This inverted geometric configuration yields high tensile resistance along the length of the roll, ideal for continuous pressure belt filters and horizontal screening.

Cleanability:High
021 – 100 µm
Twilled Dutch Weave
Micro-Precision Screening

Combines twill weaving pattern with Dutch wire packing, where warp and weft wires pass over two and under two wires. Creates zero straight-through light pathways, forming a tortuous capillary pore matrix for absolute micro-particulate retention.

Cleanability:Moderate
0340 – 2000 µm
Bolting Cloth
High-Throughput Precision

Characterized by thin, uniform wire diameters woven in a balanced square mesh. Offers substantially higher percentage open area than standard market grade wire cloth, enabling maximum flow velocity and fast particulate classification.

Cleanability:Very
0475 – 10,000 µm
Market Grade Wire Cloth
Standard Industrial Screening

The most widely specified industrial standard wire mesh. Woven with proportional wire diameter to aperture ratios in plain or twilled square patterns, providing a robust balance of structural resilience, wear resistance, and cost efficiency.

Cleanability:High
051 – 200 µm
Sintered Multi-Ply Laminates
Rigid Diffusion-Bonded Mesh

A monolithic filtration plate composed of 2 to 7 layers of wire mesh diffusion-bonded under vacuum at elevated temperatures. Combines fine filter control layers, protective scrims, and heavy drainage/support grids into a single unyielding composite.

Cleanability:Highest
0620 – 3000 µm
Wedge Wire Hybrid Systems
Continuous Profile V-Wire

Features precision V-shaped wire profiles welded onto internal support rods. The two-point contact slot configuration produces an expanding relief angle, virtually preventing particulate entrapment and maximizing automated continuous self-cleaning efficiency.

Cleanability:Immediate
