Stainless steel alloy comparison guide

Selecting the correct wire mesh alloy ensures target flow efficiency, thermal endurance, and longevity against chemical corrosion. Review engineering specs for MutualFilter standard and specialized filter wire mesh grades.

Molybdenum Enhancement (316 vs 304)

Adding 2-3% Molybdenum in SS 316 prevents localized pitting corrosion caused by chlorides and industrial process acids.

High-Temperature Resistance

High Nickel-Chromium alloys like SS 310S retain mechanical mesh structural integrity up to 1,150°C (2,100°F) in continuous heat environments.

EN 10204 3.1 Traceability

Every shipment comes backed by full Mill Test Reports (MTR) confirming chemical spectro-analysis and mechanical tensile limits.
